Well... as long as I'm in the posting pictures of concert gigs... here's another one!

This is at Telluride Jazz Festival - and that is Airto Moreira.  He and his wife, Flora Purim, were the Guests Of Honor at Telluride Jazz last year and this was the main stage of the Festival bearing Flora and Airto's name.  Other performers  to grace the FnA stage that weekend included such legends as Herbie Hancock and Larry Coryell.

For those of your unfamiliar with Flora and Airto (as were we before becoming involved with this project) - try Googling their names and/or the names associated with their musical lives... Chick Corea, Santana, Weather Report... they've definitely been around!

(to give you an idea of Flora's level of fame - a sample of her unique vocal style was  included in the space probe sent out into the universe in mankind's effort to be in touch with any other life forms out there.  That's big.  =)
