Another Journal thing

Well, here I sit in West Union after a nice night off with the Weekleys (Paul and Sharon).

They welcomed me into their home and let me sleep in their cabin up on a ridge on their property. Great spot and I am so glad I was out of the heat today.

I think it toped 100 on the thermostate at the cabin.

Last night they took me to a local eatery called ALICE's good Pizza and we ate with the whole family. Four generations at one table, very nice folks and great kids.

I got into a movie conversation with the younger guys (David and Eli --both under 9 I think) about various Animated classics and current films that we are all fans of.

They told me I also needed to see 'Eragon', which I hadnt seen yet. I think they were surprised that I knew so much about so many of the same films that they liked.

But i am a movie fanatic, and speaking of that I can not wait to get to Parkersburg so I can actually go in and sit in a cold theater, eat some fresh popcorn and watch a movie. THE SIMPSONS is one I really wanted to see lately. Been a while since I hit a community with a theater and I hate that, as movies are my life and my vice.

Tonight Sharon cooked us a great home cooked meal with veggies from the garden, taste great, as well as a home made Berry pie toped with ice cream and cool whip..FANTASTIC!!!!

Great day off reading today, so I am glad I got to sit under a AC and do that.

Tomorrow its back to the heat.
