inside E.A.P.

Sunlight_Digital's picture

This is an EPK we developed for the short film "E.A.P." by Brad Youngs.

Unlike the short film itself (shot on a Panasonic HVX200 by Jon Darbonne), the cinematography for this piece was shot with our own pair of Panasonic DVX100B Cameras.

We did all the editing on Final Cut Pro with a little help from Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.

This is the best EPK

This is the best EPK EVER!!!!! That looks like the most AMAZING movie about Edgar Allan Poe. He looks like a really great director. I would love to work with such talent. LOL

Yes, Mr Twilight,
I'll see if I can hook you up with the director...

He uses some pretty good DP's and is wise enough to grant them a lot of artistic freedom on his projects.

I'll see if I can talk him into letting you be one of my camera assistants to get you in the door!

Heh!

Karma Points ?

So.. how exactly does this Karma thing work?  inside E.A.P. is at the top of the heap, but I don't know why!

Is this about posts and participation?  And the movie of choice gets to ride the Karma wave?  Or ...?

And.. if I change my "This is It" choice.. do the Karma points start from the beginning again? or does it enjoy the amassed force o' karma not matter how good or bad the movie choice?  I thought the Karma thing was a rating system from other KarmaCritic users?

Hmmm... who knows the answer?

KarmaChameleon!

 Hehe!

Here's how it works: you get Karma Points for participating in the site.... things like writing stories, or blogs, or comments, or submitting films, or inviting other filmmakers, rating films, ads, etc.

The Films by Karma list shows the "this is my karma choice" films of the top karma points members. The number 1 film in this list gets the "spotlight" in the front page :) Sure, you can change the karma choice to any film of yours you wish, any time, as long as its just one at a time. No points will be reset or anything :)

Every friday night though, I'll reset everybody's weekly points, to give people a fair-ground chance for next week.

While the weekly points die every friday for everyone, the all-time points never go away, and are for bragging rights only :)

Hope this helps explain the thing!

I welcome all feedback about it, any ideas to make it better, send them up :)
