The Interconnectedness of All Things IntroSo my roommate and I filmed this weird oil bubble toy thing with my DVX the other night. We flipped the camera sideways and put a white paper behind the toy to clean up the background. What we shot turned out really cool, so I did some post work on the colors and added some text and came up with a SWEET intro video for a film I might be working on in the near future. Some people have accused me of doing this in After Effects... But the truth it: I don't even OWN After Effects. Let me know what you think. I'm eager to get involved in KC again. So what's up?! hah. My role(s) in this film: Director Editor FX Submitted by aedmark on October 12, 2007 - 2:17pm. |

Helvetica, all-small-caps :)
I love this kind of thinking, adapting things available to uses varied and cool! Many congrats!
It looks truly very good for an intro.. it tells me this is a kind of movie... I dont know, to be watched in a video ipod or a macbook inside a volks beetle, perhaps while listening to Wheezer and sipping some starbucks frappuccino on your way to some art film fest... you know, thats the kind of demographic I imagined who clicks with that intro :)
Thats just me, maybe I'm projecting :)
Anyway, I really liked the crescendo leading to the all-small-caps helvetica title (another tell-tale sign), and it all just clicked together really well! Good work man! Sleek!
That was ingeneous,
That was ingeneous, incredible and very cool.
Basically what Fable Forge
Basically what Fable Forge said. I love the resourcefullness of filmmaking. You don't need a crazy high end software program to do fun titles. Just a white sheet of paper and a kids toy!
