  Hey Allen!!

 Hey Allen,

(now that I know your name I'm gonna wear it  out)

but listen,  when I learn to handle a camera with just an ounce of the brilliance in which you do...it is on baby.  There will be no stopping me.  I have stories that (quite frankly I don't understand how) have never been told.

My imagination is so disgustingly wild, I'm mentoring a number of co-workers...and they are bringing it (killer stories)  like you would not believe.

NOW, we just need to learn how to  WORK THAT CAMERA BABY!!!

Espektro, posted a blog about ANIMATION & wacom tablets.  I can't find it now.

Knowing what you know, If you had a JVC mini-Cam, and you wanted to begin to learn the ART OF ANIMATION, where would you begin?

I have a script.  I have an illustrator.  I have a community of very smart people who post incite--ful info.

What say you Allen?Money mouth

Animation?

I s'poze it depends on the feel of your story and the kind of animation that would best be suited, Stallion.

There's Flash animation, cel animation, stop-motion animation, claymation, machinima, cartoons, stick figures!  :)

I used a 1-chip little Sony miniDV camera and iStopMotion (for Mac) to do this little experiment.

The DVX100B is just a prop in the background!

Any you know: Kontent is King - so.. if you go the story, you're more than halfway there!

STALLION's picture

I'm almost there!!!

If I can describe the tone for my ANIMATED film it would be this:

"Cool World"  meets "Nightmare before Christmas".

I have demons who have to be non-caricature. THEY MUST BE SCARY.   It's vital to the story that the viewers find  MURDER  charming (ie, kinda like that "bad boy thing" that some women [NOT ME!!!]  find charming).

LUST & HARLOT are obviously lesbians, but men viewing this movie should secretly want to...well you know.

LIAR, is comic relief.   But he even has depth.  He has a soul....... if you will.

There are also ANGELS & HUMANS in "More At Grace".......but hey Allen, I am busy, darn (I know I can use the other words.  It's just nice having that choice...isn't it?)

I have never been more busy in my life.  I've got about 20 balls in the air at one time.

I love it........I think?

Yeah, Yeah, I love it........................................I think? ("stop doing that crazy!!!")

I'm not crazy Allen, just having fun.  Just trying to let you get to know me a little.  Just trying to find my place in this world of ANIMATION.

Mr. Sunlight

No worries reincarnut... we used Mr. Sunlight's stunt-double.

I'm an associate member of P.L.A.S.T.I.C. (Producer's League Against Scalding Toy Individuals Co-operative)

Allen...can you keep this story going?

Are you old enough to remember the FOLGER coffee commercial...

...when the  "Mrs. Robinson"- like lady borrows some coffee from a real nice neighbor?

Oh my, are you old enough to know who "Mrs. Robinson" is?

Old enough?

Am I old enough?

... old enough to be wise enough not to answer that, Stallion!

:P

Hey Allen, here I am again!!

Will you watch Marco's film DREAM OF HOME?  I believe that is the direction I will be going with More At Grace.  However, I like the way you are presenting your dialogue in "Mr. Sunlight".

What software will I need to accomplish this task?Undecided

Dialogue software?

I'm not quite certain what you mean by "mr sunlight's dialog"?

the soundtrack was strictly comprised of sound effects (including the snoring) from a library of mine.

the soundtrack was simply assembled on the audio portion of the sequence timeline in Final Cut Pro.

I feel like I'm in film school.

Hey Allen:  that's what I meant (the snoring, the yawn, the yelp) as far as the dialogue.

I plan to record the dialogue, as I will be doing quite a bit of it myself.

Andrew:  You said, spend a lot of time on the script.  Where should I spend the most money?

Hey Marco: how're you doing? Cool

Ouch! Hot hot hot!

Poor Mr. Sunlight!! Ow, drowned in hot coffee! That goes as one of the most wince-inducing deaths in cinema, almost up there with T-1000 in the lava cauldron and Gollum in Mt. Doom :)

Little did you know that his dissolved DNA, that you drank with that morning's coffee, is slowly mutating and replicating in your brain... one fine morning.. you'll wake up and the mirror will show you a big, round... yellow.. smiling face!

Smile

Booyah!

Lol :) Hi Stallion! I'm honored you liked Ep 3 of the series. They've told me the series is at its weirdest around episode 5 or 6, but after that it becomes somewhat digestible :) I'll post the next episode this friday... hehe!

Mr. Sunlight is adorable.

Comedy is truth and pain...represented here in a twisted way.  Fun!
