Here's the cast for the next two shorts along with the scripts. I have decided to shoot the shorts. I am posting both scripts for your reading pleasure. Since both scripts take place at a bar/cafe I will be able to shoot both at the same location. girl in a bar pilot.pdf Mindy Mather's Mom.pdf

This is Jenn Peterson-Hind from the kids TV show HI-5
as most of you know this is Rick Yudt. He will play the agent in the Mindy short as well as the bartender on Girl walks into a bar.
and here is Kassie Height from the TV show One Tree Hill who will play Mindy.
and for the roll of the devil has not yet been cast but my first choice is..... well... just take a look.
Sounds like I will have a crazy weekend in May....

I read Girl in a bar a long time ago, I think we even talked about it and I gave you my opinion.
On Mindy Mathers, to be honest, I think it gets off to a great start of getting the reader interested, then just kinda ends.
Also, I don't like the "full frontal" referrence on MMM.

I appreciate your comments on MMM.
The "full frontal" line (a la Brooke Shields' mother) and the "paparazzi" ending serve to show that Mindy's Mom has only one motivation - the fame of her daughter - no matter the cost.
The short was written with the intention of developing into one of two things. It is either one piece in a series of shorts/webisodes/mobisodes, or, it is a glimpse into a feature length film.
Hope this helps make the content and structure seem more logical for you.

Really, my feedback was for Brad, I think he posted this thread for feedback.
Maybe it could be reworked as a "trailer" for a feature/pilot or "episode one" of a series.

Thank you for considering me for a role. But I'm not interested. I'm way too busy. And don't want to do short films. There is nothing in it for me. And I asked you to send me the script and you didn't. So it's a double split damn what the fuck you suck. haha
I'm sorry, but I'm not in any position to keep on with short films. They are a waste of time for me. It's like working backwards. At least for meeeeeeeeeeeeeee they are.
