Wow, bold subject matter
Wow, bold subject matter for a high school classroom. Heck, we wouldn't even have been able to say "damn" in any of our high school projects.
Good editing, and the kid playing the singer does a pretty good job lip syncing and acting.
But did I see shots from Pearl Harbor? Oh Michael Bay, is there no escaping you?

The kid did a good job, indeed, but most of them do. Yeah, Michael Bay is inescapable, but, in my defense, I used FAR more from the old film TORA TORA TORA...lol...
The shot I'm pretty proud of, though, is the one with the shadows passing over the kid near the WTC...

Haha...yeah, it's been forever since I've seen Tora Tora Tora, but I was going to add that I hoped there's some of that in there too. Glad there is.

i wish i had a teacher like you when I went to school. I had a speech teacher that influensed the hell out of me.... Thats what you do with these kids. Keep it up.

This is a way to do
This is a way to do something I'm good at to really make a difference for them, sure...think aobut it: what sticks in your mind more? The research you do for a 12 page research paper, just copying facts and rewording phrases, OR...the research you do on period costume, weaponry, history, etc, that you'd have to do in one of these music vids.
This semester's are gearing up as we speak (we do them the last week of class), and I have high hopes.
