Sandra Sampayo is kind of enough to take some time out of her busy schedule to tell us about her most recent project! I just spoke to her, the girl didn't go to sleep until 4 am working on her documentery!

here is her bio:

Sandra Sampayo is an actress, producer and is currently hosting shows on Es Musica, which can be seen through Internet TV and mobile channels. She was born in Colombia and is of Syrian and Colombian descent. She is a citizen of the world having traveled and worked in over 20 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

Sandra worked at MTV Networks Latin America as the Manager of the Music and Talent department as well as an on site producer for seven years. She has interviewed and worked with an array of international artists ranging from The Rolling Stones, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem, and Metallica to Shakira, Juanes, Alejandro Sanz and many more. She even made her big screen debut in the Metallica documentary “Some Kind of Monster.”

Sandra’s most recent project is a documentary she is producing along with her partner Lagan Sebert, a journalist and producer working in Washington D.C. They traveled to Colombia to document the issue of the country’s internally displaced people and the effects it has on the culture as a whole. Colombia is the second country in the world next to Sudan that is facing this situation yet not many people seem to be aware of it. The documentary also shows Colombian musicians who are socially outspoken about what is going on in the country and are using their voice to create awareness.
