KICO VELARDE, PVC-1, and THE DARK FUCKING KNIGHT  MAN, what a show! I think this one was one of the best, by far! First of all, we had what I think is the single most inspirational and wish-fullfilment-fullfilled filmmaker story I've ever heard, the story of how raw determination, a DV cam and 4000 bucks could process a ONE-SHOT film across 6 miles of Colombian jungle with 50 actors (47 of them not professionals), endure a lot of pushback for its controversial topic, but end up as poetry, and in CANNES, baby! You GOTTA hear this! We also talked about latinos in the Industry, and finally we had a great conversation about THE DARK KNIGHT, that little masterpiece we'll tell our grandkids about some day.
