New Poster for Fistful of Brains

This is the latest of our posters, number 4. Yes there is actually a romance in a western zombie movie. Didn't know how to submit this other than a blog, so now I have to write something I guess. Anyway, thanks to Bill Muligan who stylized this and to Wayne Bates our photographer who does double duty as the perverted preacher in the movie. We are premiering it on September 27th at 9pm at the Ava Gardner Film Festival in Smithfield where it was shot. They'll also be showing Getting a Head in the Movie Biz. Getting a Head had it's premier at Hypercon this past June.

So I've still got a lot of editing on FFOB. Just got the first half to the sound designer/composer yesterday and am working on the second half now. Why do I set these impossible deadlines for myself? Yeah, I don't know but it will force me to make it happen because now I have to!

Well......

He looks a little too hairy to be shirtless on a movie poster. That particular image might not help to sell the movie too much.

I don't think they

waxed back in the old west. Besides there are plenty of women who love hairy chests including me and the girl in the poster.

Ezequiel's picture

DAMN IT!

One of my girl friends recently told me that I'm not hairy enough and that hairy men make her hot! Damn it!

Fistful of hair

In any other genre I'd agree with Brendan, (and that's saying a lot cuz I have a hairy chest!) but in this case, we're talking about an audience who enjoys seeing people get eaten. Just have a scene in the end with a zombie coughing up a furball, it'll be fine :)

heh

Furball.  Brilliant.

"Baffling the critics since 1971."

The poor boy

isn't that hairy now! The filters Bill used just give it a lot more emphasis. We're not talking Sasquatch. That would definitely be too much. Just a bit on the front is good. Ass hair and back hair, bad. Sorry Marco I hope that doesn't apply to you. ;-)

Yeah, impossible deadlines

Yeah, impossible deadlines are the only way for me to get anything done.

SOMETHING JUST OCCURED TO ME

I was just observing this poster. And I think you should change the title of your movie to

"A Mouthful of_______"

EZEQUIEL

p.s. It's supposed to be a fill in the blank.
