Fake teaser for The Unnaturals

FableForge's picture

We didn't really shoot cities exploding, this is just a clever (we hope!) attempt to capture the -feel- of a movie that still doesn't exist in the realm of reality, but is fully formed in our minds. It's not official of course, just a little teaser we hope you'll enjoy :)

For more info, see my post about The Unnaturals

You already know...

that is awesome!!

FableForge's picture

Where did the footage come from?

Thank you sir!! Can you guess where the footage came from? I think you'll have fun looking for the answer, all five minutes of it that it'll take you, tops :)

Is Juan Reidenger already

Is Juan Reidenger already set to be the lead role?

FableForge's picture

We wish, but no..

We'd love to for that to be true... that's why we put his mug there, to try to nudge things in his favor, but no, its not at all assured. He'll get an audition though, that much I'm pretty sure of, if this whole thing happens (crossing fingers)

THE SLATE

When this was first a webisodic series project, I was attached to direct and Juan Riedinger was going to be my star. I love this guy. For reals.

Since the project got out of hand and kept getting bigger and bigger and set on the road to be a movie. Things changed.

Me directing a huge hollywood motion picture is not likely at this point. But I'm still gonna try. If not, well I'll have to remain happy in the Producer's seat. Fine.

Robert Lawrence, THE producer of this loves Juan Riendinger. He's seen "On A Dark and Stormy Night", and during the viewing, he looked over to me at least 5 times and said--"this guy is a movie star"

We all love Juan, and he is GUARANTEED an audition when the time comes. We're not there yet. But I promise I will do my bestest to have him in the picture. And if I can pitch the hell out of my vision for it, and by some miracle I do get to direct it, I guarantee Juan will be in it. Hopefully "Stormy" will show that I have a unique vision and help. Tova Laiter watched the film last night. Big Sugar and Eva-Maria were there. Once again, like others that saw it, one of the first remarks were--how did you do the special effects. There aren't any. Everything was done in camera and cheated. I believe I'm the perfect candidate to bring this to life. The hard part is trying to convince a studio that I'm the man to helm what we assume (working hard at) will be a big summer film.

As of now. I am the Executive Producer (this guarantees me a skinny chick with big tits haha) for THE UNNATURALS. I've never been an Executive Producer. Might be fun. Our contracts are being written up. So I'm basically married to Marco and Robert Lawrence now.

But to set this straight so we're not "bradding" around, there is no movie deal....yet. That is our goal.  Marco is simply sharing all the hard work we've done to get this project to where it is at---and there are many MANY HUGE companies/studios and people in complete desire of this project.

WOW!!!

that is something great

executive producer is the most

or you directing the movie, whatever will be great

to find karma way to do finally an amazing movie

Yo Ho!!!

FableForge's picture

We're both getting Exec. Producer if things go well

This is the table I figured will work for us:

Person                             Contributions                                        Credit

Robert Lawrence        -Producer duties                       -Producer

EZ                            -Great feedback and direction    -Shared creator credit, Exec. Prod.

Marco                        -Screenplay                            -Writer

Marco                        -Website, graphic novel            -Exec. Prod.

Anyway, its way too early for this still, I'm still crossing my fingers that this will be published as a comic, then we'll see where the screenplay goes from there... here's to hopin' :)

Cool!

If the video game is a hit, is there a way to keep your least favorite director (you know the one) from directing any possible sequels? ;)

Have you played this? I loved this game. Cannot remember which version I played. I think it was the one on Playstation.

FableForge's picture

Alone in the Dark rules.... Resident Evil OBLITERATES

Alone in the Dark was pretty revolutionary for its time when it first came out. There's a sequel right now in stores, it looks beautiful:

but what I'm really waiting for is the next Resident Evil.... technology is advanced enough to make the movie all 3D...:

Lets see man, let's see :)

LEVEL 70

:)

Blizzard is printing money. WOW is practicaly always on at our house.

Gamers would love a great movie they could "play."

Interesting Halo trivia.

FableForge's picture

Nice trivia

Wow, a million bucks for a screenplay.... then again, he's the guy who wrote 28 days later... then again, I happen to know he wrote the third part of that movie on the fly, pretty much they changed their mind mid principal photography. Anyway, cool for him, and see how Microsoft makes money? Picture Apple doing that :)

John Meredith's picture

Another intersting....

bit is that PJ is listed as Exec Producer of Halo.

2. Hellraiser - maybe

3. Armagedon - maybe

FableForge's picture

I'm surprised!!

I thought it was obvious! Well, I'm glad its not :)

You got number 1 right (that tornado over downtown LA is pretty iconic), but not the others :)  hehehe!

John Meredith's picture

A couple more guesses...

Sin City?

Independence Day?

The Prophecy?

FableForge's picture

Strike two!!

I'm starting to regret taking that clip down from the site! I took it down because I was afraid the people the producer is showing stuff to would get turned off if they recognized it , but now it seems it wasn't as obvious as i thought! :) let me know whenever you want me to tell you the answer, hehehe :)

John Meredith's picture

Lets see...

if anyone else can guess any of the clips before you reveal.

I know I have seen these movies, especially the big earth drill thing.

You probably did some color work on the clips too, at least TDAT looks darker than the original footage.

cpparker's picture

Wow!

This looks great! How can they say no to that? I mean really how? If I had money I'd put it with you guys.

FableForge's picture

Thank you Lady Parker!

It means a lot coming from you! I hope you'll have a chance to see the website too sometime, hope you'll like it! :)

twilight-ent's picture

great job... looks great!

great job... looks great! for what its worth, the title crds are a bit too fast.

FableForge's picture

Not saying you're wrong

You're probably right, they are too fast, but in my defense, they are synched to the music, ... in fact everything is, to the milisecond :) Blame Rammstein. Just not in their face, they'd kill you :)

twilight-ent's picture

independence day for the

independence day for the tunnel stuff?

FableForge's picture

Swing and a miss :)

Nope, not independence day, and not batman :) You guys let me know when you want the answer :)

Meanwhile, why not check http://www.theunnaturals.com and see the comic book, or other stuff in there? :)
