"The End of the Matrix" - Part 3

Lord Phillock's picture

The last part of the EOM trilogy. DON'T WATCH THIS unless you have seen Parts 1 and 2.

After seeing the film... you may not have understood the story therein... not to worry. This was done in 2003 and we didn't have any pre-production... here is a detailed explanation as to what happens in this flick.

Part 3 begins at the thick of the Super Burly
Brawl in another region, where the matrix is being corrupted by the
newly-revealed virus spawned from the re-birth of Smith and Neo that is causing
the final destruction of the matrix and everything in it (Seen in "Matrix Revolutions"). Rack and Trigger
confront the virus one last time to attempt to prevent the breaking of the
matrix. By this time, Neo defeated Smith and has died. Unbeknowst to the
machines or anyone else, a secret battle that will very likely destroy the
matrix is being held. The Virus is revealed as the corrupted form of The Architect and engages in a two-on-one battle with
Rack and Trigger for a final stand to prevent the end of the matrix. After the
battle, the matrix overheats and is shut down. All is lost... until the
"spirit" of Neo turns the matrix into a new version where humanity’s
physical and mental boundaries are limited to only the stretch of their own
mind and existence. Both the real world and the matrix are merged together and
all is now at peace, unbeknownst to the “bluepills” that inhabit the
matrix. Rack and Trigger, confident and alive, now walk amongst the other
humans into the masses. The film ends with the monologue heard in “The Matrix”
where
Neo has fulfilled the One's prophecy (proclaimed in the first matrix film).

“End of the
Matrix” was filmed back-to-back in a series of 3 nights and a day, when Tim was
visiting Phil and Jake at their house, at the city of Zagreb and Samobor in Croatia, Europe. December 9th to 11th. The film was shot with director
Phil Dragash operating the camera, and the actors acting. The choices between
the sets were a matter of simply driving around the city and picking a good
location to shoot.

The script was written a week before Tim visited and had hardly a
pre-production to go with it.

The film was
released to a very small audience on December 12th, 2003.
