Holy Crap, that was a great film!!

I'm slowly becoming your fan, Jack Bishop....

Even though I already knew this urban legend (I wont spoil it.. people, really, watch this film and if you dont jump out your seat near the end you must have nerves of steel) it still startled the hell out of me. And I knew it was coming! And it still ... man, the hairs on my arms are standing.

Wow.

Wow wow. And the way you turned the child like.. baby music.. into .. something eerie.. that was just genius. The titles, and the end, they have this elegant feel to them... like.. chic cowboy.. kinda vibe..  hard to describe, but its in your photo here in KC, too.

Man, keep these films coming, .. I'm really, really starting to like your style. My respects!

Jack!  Very nice work. I

Jack!  Very nice work. I loved the concept, it was truly frightening.  What I would say overall, is that for 48 it was amazing. The story and set-up worked very well. My only critique is that I felt the cinematography was hot and cold. Your use of inserts was great, and you had many cool and creative shorts, what I felt was a bit weak were a few of the master shots, there were many cases where you had a static camera on a scene (i.e. when she reings the doorbell, making popcorn in the kitchen, going up the stairs towards us). These motionless shots lost a bit of the tension. I liked the energy of teh shot that followed her up the stairs, and I would suggest that, in a piece like this, the camera should have always had movement, even a slight waver (a float), to keep us off balance. When your camera moved, or shook, or when you used the jump cut inserts (on the water tap), it was really working. I loved the fact that you started with a photo and ended with a photo. Super creative storytelling.

This is one of the my faves here. I'm really a fanboy for anything Jack Bishop and his friend Ledbetter make, this one has a great ending!

Beautiful.

Anyway, this comment is a test of the myspace thumbnails which are looking weird right now..
