FableForge's Foundlings #26: The difference between HARRY POTTER and STAR WARS

Use the Force, Harry!!

Well, this is a happy little find that made the number-cruncher in me chuckle. Someone found a clever way to illustrate how the classic Hero's Journey works (Joseph Campbell's "Hero of a Thousand Faces", heck, even Aristotle's "Poetics") by comparing HARRY POTTER to STAR WARS. Or maybe they did it for the lulz.

I Love Quotes

Just wanted to share this with everyone. I found a great site that has two pages of quotes relevant to filmmaking. They show a broad scope of ideas and even some alternate opinions on those ideas.

On The Lot and KarmaCritic: our story

Even though this story is familiar with everyone who has been with us from the beginning, we've recently gotten some exposure at AMNY, or the LAT, so I just wished to create this article, as they say, for the record, on what was my experience with On The Lot, and how KarmaCritic came to be.
