Animating RUDOLF

Hey people, I just figured I'd share this little image I made for RUDOLF (that sick short I wrote for VOAT, which you can read here, and consequently lose your faith in humanity: http://www.karmacritic.com/node/2450 ) . I'm playing with a really cool software called Toon Boom Studio 4, and it took me all of three hours to kinda learn the basics, which is all I need to create Rudolf. I got all my 3d models and screenshots, and all of the audio, voices, etc... its just a matter of animation now, I hope. Lets see.

Here's a little demo of what this software can do. I'm cautiously optimistic :)

P.S. Its likely the finished product wont look at all like this image... I'm limited by "cutout style" animation to never change too much the angle of my characters, but we'll see what can I get away with. We'll see :)

The Death of Sonnyboo

This is my first serious and important piece. It's an abstract/avant
garde piece studying the deeper meanings in life through film images. It's shot in glorius
black & white film, just to make it that much more serious. That's why this is better than a narrative film. I also used footage leftover from Bitter Old Man, even though it doesn't relate to the story in any way. I just trusted my instincts and not one iota of filmmaking technique or using any of my experience as a filmmaker.

It's also my proof that anyone can shit out
one of these experimental movies with little to no effort. It's a mockery
of these kinds of pretentious retarded films and Ezekial? This one's for you babe. FUCK ART.
