 About Me:
I've made films all my life. My first professional foray into the entertainment arts was with a theatre collective I founded in Calgary, Alberta, "Cellardoor Theatre". I wrote and produced four plays before turning to film with my first feature COIL, a story about a news reporter who committed crimes and reported on them the next day. That movie was shot entirely from the perspective of security and news cameras. COIL won a few awards and went to some festivals. I moved to Montreal to study film at Concordia University, but dropped out and produced my second feature, SIGMA, which showed at 14 festivals and also won awards. At this time I got involved with Summit School in Montreal, a school for at-risk kids. With them, I produced two documentaries and a made for TV movie, The Forgotten Ones, which is currently being with a distributor seeking television broadcast for it. At this moment in time I am multi-tasking: Directing a Gala theatrical event (We Are Daniel) with autistic teens, producing a documentary about that event, completing finishing work on a 288 page Graphic Novel, in post-production of a new five minute short film and developing my next feature project for fall production.
